Workshop formats

We offer two primary workshop formats depending on your goals and who you want leading the work.

Direct workshops

We work directly with your students, professionals, or participants.

Revision Learning coaches lead live, interactive sessions that help participants identify meaningful experiences and shape them into strong, authentic stories. Ideal when you want expert facilitation without adding to staff workload, consistent instruction across a cohort or program, and immediate, hands-on impact for participants.

Train-the-Trainer workshops

We train educators, counselors, advisors, and leaders in our approach.

We equip educators and leaders with the tools, language, and frameworks they need to support storytelling work independently and consistently within their own contexts. Ideal when you want a shared storytelling framework across a team, sustainable internal capacity, and classroom-ready tools educators can use immediately. Participants receive slide decks, lesson plans, and worksheets to support ongoing implementation.

College essay workshops

Helping students find and tell the stories that get them into college.

Our college essay workshops support both students and the educators who guide them. Through direct student workshops, we help students identify meaningful experiences and shape them into compelling personal statements, supplemental essays, and scholarship essays. Through train-the-trainer educator workshops, we support counselors, teachers, and advisors in developing a clear, consistent approach to guiding authentic student work.

College Essay Launch

Students are introduced to the Moments Method® and the role of storytelling in college admissions. They build a portfolio of stories they can use across all college essays — personal statements, supplemental essays, and scholarship essays — and leave with a personal statement first draft.

How long are workshops?

Our core workshops — College Essay Launch and Crafting Your Career Story — are each 2 hours. We also offer shorter 1-hour introductory sessions and longer multi-session programs. Custom workshop lengths are available based on your goals and schedule.

Are workshops in person or online?

Our open-enrollment workshops are virtual, delivered on Zoom. Custom workshops are available virtually worldwide or in person in New York City. In-person workshops outside of NYC are available by request.

Can I book a workshop for my school or organization?

Yes — custom workshops are available for schools, nonprofits, universities, and companies. We tailor the content, format, and length to your specific goals and audience. Book a consultation to discuss →

How much do workshops for organizations cost?

Our core 2-hour student workshop starts at $1,500 for up to 50 students virtually, and $2,500 in person in NYC. Educator PD workshops start at $2,500 virtually for up to 20 educators. All pricing is custom based on scope, number of sessions, and participants. See full pricing →

Do participants need any prep before a workshop?

No prep is required. We recommend participants come with an open mind and, if possible, a story or experience they'd like to explore. Everything else is guided during the session.

Can workshops be combined with other services?

Yes — workshops pair well with platform access, 1:1 coaching, and curriculum for deeper, sustained impact. Many organizations combine a workshop series with ongoing platform access for students or staff. See org programs →
