Storytelling Platform
Learn at your own pace with expert-designed tools for finding, shaping, and sharing meaningful stories
Our expert-designed platform brings together StoryBuilder software, guided prompts, and self-paced courses to help learners identify meaningful experiences and shape them into cohesive narratives for college admissions, careers, and beyond, all in one place.
Designed to Support Real Progress With Clear Guidance
A structured, self-paced approach to storytelling that works across contexts
The Storytelling Platform gives students structure and momentum as they work on important stories. Rather than starting from a blank page or relying on sporadic feedback, students follow a clear, expert-designed process that helps them identify the right experiences and shape them into cohesive narratives.
Because the platform is guided and intentionally structured, students can move through their work independently while using the same storytelling framework taught in our workshops and coaching.
This creates clarity and consistency for students, while also giving parents and educators confidence that students are working within a thoughtful, intentional process.
Schools and families use the platform as a shared foundation for storytelling work—whether a student is working on their own, participating in a workshop, or receiving additional support—helping everyone stay aligned around how strong stories are built and revised.
StoryBuilder
Craft and edit stories from beginning to end
StoryBuilder is a writing tool that helps students identify potential stories, think through a clear beginning, middle, and end, and revise drafts over time. Using the five steps of the Moments Method®—Find Stories, Focus In, Tell It Out Loud, Map It, and Focus Out—students brainstorm, draft, organize, and refine stories in a structured, intentional way.
Students can start using the Storytelling Platform for free to explore prompts, capture ideas, and begin shaping meaningful stories. As students’ goals evolve, additional support and structure are available through upgraded access.
What Students Can Do on the Platform
Daily Story
Generate new story ideas through changing prompts
Daily Story provides students with a new prompt each day to encourage reflection on different moments, experiences, and themes. Students can also generate a new prompt if they want to explore a different direction—giving them flexibility to find a prompt that resonates—while still being able to return to the original daily prompt when needed, such as for a class assignment.
Self-Paced Courses
Learn core storytelling principles and apply them across contexts
Self-paced courses introduce students to core storytelling principles and demonstrate how those principles transfer across different contexts. Courses cover general storytelling, storytelling for college admissions, and storytelling for careers, with interactive videos and quizzes that help students learn at their own pace and apply ideas directly to their own stories.
Additional Guided Support Through the Platform
For students who want more support, the platform also provides access to workshops and 1:1 coaching.
Workshops
Participate in live storytelling workshops and revisit recordings
Workshops give students guided opportunities to apply storytelling concepts in real time. Sessions are accessed directly through the platform, with links available before each workshop and recordings available afterward so students and educators can revisit the material and reinforce learning.
1:1 Coaching
Get personalized feedback and live support
1:1 coaching allows students to submit their writing for asynchronous feedback and meet with a coach for live support. Coaching helps students refine their stories, clarify their ideas, and get targeted guidance as they continue developing and revising their work over time on the platform.

This flexible model allows organizations to use the platform on its own or pair it with live instruction and individualized support as needed.
